Diving the Molokini Back Wall with Island Style Diving was an unforgettable adventure! We explored the depths behind Maui’s iconic crescent-shaped crater, renowned as one of the world’s top ten dive sites. The crystal-clear waters offered us the chance to see grey reef sharks! The backwall is also home to other magnificent pelagic creatures, such as moray eels, manta rays and dolphins. The exceptional clarity allowed us to see the vibrant colors of the smaller sea life such as nudibranchs, pipefish and pyramid butterflyfish. The geology of the crater itself was stunning! Diving alongside the backwall, I had the sensation of flying because of the exceptional clarity! I felt like a superhero!
